She was ready to begin (9†x 12â€)
Scraps of fused fabric and a background quilted months earlier came together to make a cute little quilt of an artist and her blank canvas. I used tiny bias tape for the binding – I don’t think I’ll use it again. I love the frayed mess of the floor – I thought I would trim it but I just couldn’t.
I am about to begin a much needed vacation. An art journal, a hand stitching project and crafts to do with friends are packed and ready to go. I’m looking forward to relaxation, fun and laughter.
