I couldn’t make just one girl with a crown of flowers. This girl sports pink hair and face that says smile, discover, leap and create! Each bloom makes her smile (8” x 10”) Oh, yes, it is time to try this face technique on a full girl.

The outline stitching added so much detail to this girl. This was a rare process for me – fussy cutting flowers and leaves, her neck and carefully planning what words would display on her face. I love how the ‘blush’ on her cheeks highlights the smile text. The bright colors pop off the indigo background. […]
