A girl in boots with a dimensional skirt is a pattern I return to often. Not only is fun to create, but when people see these quilts, they connect with them and smile.
A fellow artist at the gallery lamented that I hadn’t made any dark haired girls in boots, so I created many. Not sure if it was the dress or the saying, but this beauty was snatched up quickly. I make notes of what brings huge smiles, what has people pulling art from the bin immediately and holding it near. I like making more of those items.
