Hello bliss (9†x 12â€)
I fell in love with the Mercury prints (from Alison Glass’s Sun Prints 2015 collection) the first time I saw them. They seems to be the perfect example of art meeting science and the colors were glad. When I was pulling fabrics to make dress portrait quilts, I grabbed one and realized that despite the nagging words in my head that this print is precious to me (and should be hoarded), I had to use it. This fabric make me happy and sharing my happy via quilting is the reason I needed fabric. I look forward to saying hello to more bits of precious fabric stitched into each quilt I create.
