Walking his dog was the best part of his day (8” x 10”)
This quilt was a challenge project that was later donated to the local Friends of Pets charity for their annual quilt auction. The challenge was a to use an old 12” star block that was made with most of the blue and floral fabrics you see in the sky. I cut the block into strips, added some other blues, sewed it together again and then cross cut it. Sewed some more and kept repeating until the block looked more like sky than quilt block.
The guy and dog were chosen because I was already giving a small quilt with a girl and her cat to the auction and wanted something a bit different.
