Jumping rope in bare feet is probably not ideal, but it makes these quilts sweeter and reminds me of when I was kid and would run outside to play until it was dark or mom yelled it was time for dinner.
I have lots of the dark blue cloud fabric at the top. I love the print, but I am having a difficult time using a lot of it on quilts. Maybe I haven’t found the right green to make it work or maybe it should be used sparingly. More experimentation is needed.

I like that statement – more experimentation is needed – it’s a great creative mantra. Today the creating slows a bit while I pause to photograph, inventory and package the stacks art quilts and journals that seem to be covering every work surface in the house.
