The girl from my newest girl art quilt seems so sad. I stewed about what phase she was communicating and finally settled on ‘She was lonely’.

Lavender background with pink stitching to mimic wallpaper and pink lanterns made from stitching and shell button. Slightly patterned white and cream dress embellished doodle stitching and antique lace. Face printed on muslin from a scanned drawing and colored with colored pencils.
