Challenge

Numbers, Letters & Circles (16” x 22”)

The evening group of the Anchorage Log Cabin Quilters posed a paint chip challenge. We were to find 3 paint chips with colors that started with our initials and then make a quilt no more than 2 feet square.

The colors I selected are Council oaks (green), Arabian night (black), Pearl (cream). Those colors just happen to match fabric I used in my recent Spring Green and Midnight & Cream quilts.

Using scraps I created these two quilts (so far).

  1. Love these mini-quilts! I particularly like the numbers/letters quilt. Your large quilts are lovely too!

  2. My guild here in IL is doing the paint chip challenge this year too. Our projects aren’t due until November, so I have lots of time to figure out what I’ll do. Love your minis!
