She left her cake in the rain (9†x 13â€)
I received an envelope with a art quilt top in it. Rena from the Anchorage Log Cabin Quilter had created this sweet sad girl who had left her cake in the rain. I was smitten with her feet, the dripping frosting and boots. Rena indicated in her note that I should enjoy it and then toss it.
NO WAY! It was too cute to toss. I added batting and backing and started quilting. I donated the finished quilt to the silent auction to benefit the guild. I’m quite certain someone will appreciate it as much as I do.
