Party All Night (16” x 20”) Sometimes I go to a fabric shop looking specifically for background fabrics. This blue doily fabric jumped out at me. The orange dress pops on this dress and it looks like she is dancing the night away.

She hoped to catch his fancy (16” x 20”) When I saw the Downton Abbey fabrics, I thought about the tub of vintage linens tucked away in my studio. I picked fabrics that looked like flooring and wallpaper. I wanted my girl to look like a slightly modern Lady Mary.

The outline stitching on the back looks almost as pretty as the front.
