As I mentioned earlier, this tree fabric inspired my fairy tale themed quilts, but when I found a remanent of red silk, my mind was filled with images of Red Riding Hood heading into the woods and we see her red cape flowing behind her. This was the first quilt in the series that I sketched.
At the bottom of the cape, you can see a bit of lace from her dress underneath peeking out.
