Put a Bird on It

This is another quilt inspired by a bird themed guild challenge.

I sketched the girl with wavy hair and a bird in a nest of flowers upon her head.

I love Anna Maria Horner fabrics, she has a fantastic print with this bird on a tree limb and there are oh so many flowers in her prints to fussy cut. I used my large handwriting print for the girl’s skin and hand marbled fabrics for her hair.
