The winter 2016 issue of Art Quilting Studio has an article about my girls in dimensional dresses.
I sent 3 of my favorite larger art quilts to the publisher and as always they did an amazing job photographing them.
I love the staging with the cupcake baker and my Downton Abbey inspired quilt looks amazing.
The issue is out now and is packed with quilting eye-candy and techniques. The work features is beautiful and I’m honored to be included.
The latest issue of Sew Somerset is out and my stitched cards have made the cover!
I am honored to have my art on the cover – I just keep shaking my head in surprise and smiling.
As with each issue, the publisher does a amazing job photographing and displaying the art.
Inside this Winter 2016 issue of Sew Somerset not only will you find my stitched cards, but my book constructed of stitched fabric and paper is also featured.
The issue is packed full of stitched eye-candy and inspiration. Each featured project sparks a little idea in my head for something new I want to try or has me sketching an idea for a future art quilt.
The publisher, Stampington, has generously offered to send an issue to one lucky winner. I’ll be randomly selecting a winner on Monday, Dec 14th from comments to this blog post and the comments to my giveaway post on Instagram (which will be posted later today). Comment in both places for multiple chances to win. Note: This contest is open to US residents only.
In your comment, I’d like to know: have you tried sewing paper before and if no, are you inspired to give it a try now?
My joy is creating art and inspiring others to share their creativity too.

I’m excited to see my artwork included in the promos for Sew Somerset.
And there’s a snippet of text about my upcoming article in Art Quilting Studio.
The latest issue of Sew Somerset is out and you’ll find a few of my projects inside.
My favorite part about new magazine articles being published is that I can finally share the art inside them. It’s hard to not share the projects when I create them and it takes 6 months or a year before I can tell anyone about them.
In the next week or so I will share photos of the art, but in the meantime, you can pick up a copy of the summer 2015 issue of Sew Somerset and see all of the fabulous stitched projects.
I am so excited that my art is on the cover of Sew Somerset summer 2014 issue.
I saw it on-line a day before my copy of the magazine arrived, I sat there stunned and smiling.
The article looks amazing.
And a few pages earlier, is my bridal shoppe dress quilts article.
