I love seeing quilters, artists and crafters creating pieces inspired by my patterns and creations.
Barbara created this quilt for her daughter using a Party Girls pattern. It says, ‘Portland, where dreams begin…’ I like the skyline in the background with the swirly sky. What a wonderful gift!
This ballerina dressed in gold is by Mary and says, ‘I can do anything if I am in my tutu!’ It just makes me want to wear a tutu wherever I go!
Mary can’t stop at just one (I know that feeling). She also created this Umbrella Girl in Paris that says, ‘I like people who smile when it’s raining.’ The four different fabrics including the scenic print with people, bring this quilt to life.
Marsha’s notecard was inspired by my Glad Messages article in Sew Somerset. Marsha is part of a group called Art Abandonment that leaves artwork anonymously for others to find. How lucky would you feel to find this?
