She Creates Magic

“It is the function of art to renew our perception. What we are familiar with we cease to see. The writer shakes up the familiar scene, and, as if by magic, we see a new meaning in it.” – Anais Nin

  1. On our trip to Montana (a very magical place in the Glacier Park region!), I read Saving CeeCee Honeycutt. It was such a sweet, fun read and I really enjoyed it. I’m now reading The Turning Point by Freya North and am hooked!

  2. I’ve been reading Deborah Boschert’s Art Quilt Collage while we were camping last week and it is on my night table to inspire me!

  3. In anticipation of the release of her newest book in August, I just re-read Louise Penny’s first novel, “Still Life”. It is such a wonderful book, the perfect start to a lovely, complex series.
