Creepy Fun

A few months ago, the ladies in my quilt guild convinced me to take home more than 90 of these little clown faces.
They were wrapped in aging paper and stacked like Pringles.
I finally found a good use for half of them – a wreath for my friends’ front door! My husband says it is the creepiest thing I have ever made.
I wrapped a foam wreath with torn strips of the blue dot fabric and then used pins to attach the faces and bits of red ribbon and lace to make 3 rounds of clowns. I add a hanging ribbon with one more additional clown face at the top.

  1. I don’t think it is creepy. Creative- yes, and because the faces are old clowns has a very retro look. You did a good job working those faces into something decorative. I can see them on a wall quilt as bombs falling from a plane through the air. Now that is weird and scary!!!! Have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays as Bing Crosby sang!!
