Art Show Views

The gallery is in this building – it’s part of a ski resort about 30 miles from my home.

View as I was unpacking quilts – my show went up in the side gallery – a small room off the main gallery space – that’s why we call it a mini show.

Here’s the view as you round the corner into the room

as you turn to the left

and left again

and the left one last time (the glass sculpture in the window is not my art, but the colors go well with my work)

There are 18 quilts on the wall and another 23 others in the bin. Several other large quilts are tucked away in the back room to replace those on the wall as quilts are sold.

Since Friday, I have read 4 books, enjoyed the warmer weather, rode my bike and shopped for fabric sparking ideas for new projects. It’s been bliss recharging my batteries, but tomorrow I plan to get reacquainted with my sewing machine, cutting mat and fabric stash.

  1. Carrie it looks like a beautiful place to have an art show. I hope you do well with sales. They all look wonderful hung up together in groups.

  2. I am so glad you showed us your art show so we could see your beautiful work hanging on the walls. Can’t wait to see what inspiration you will work on next!
