Bee Quilt

Six members in the Anchorage Modern Quilt Guild decided to do a bee in which each us picked a 12” block pattern and the others made her 2 blocks. I chose log cabin blocks with bright solid center, and logs of neutral except for 1 print. I made a few more blocks and added a neutral and print log to each block to make them slightly larger. I added random strips of sashing between the rows.

The back is dots and more dots. It’s a very happy quilt!

  1. Came out beautifully! Lovely design and an interesting use of the kona modern quilt fabric, as well as those rainbow ombre dots on the backing!
