Winter

I am thrilled snow is in the forecast!!! Snow is her happy (8” x 10”)

It may be the first day of Spring, but this weekend I was surrounded by people who are still enjoying snow! Jumping on the slopes makes her day (11” x 7”)

There’s not new snow, but it’s windy and feels much colder outside than the thermometer says. Brrr! Snowboarding is his zen (8” x 10”)

The days have been filled with sunlight and melting. But, we still have snow on the ground and I’m enjoying. She loves snow (8” x 10”)

The sun make be making most of the streets and parking lots a melty mess, but I found myself creating more snow themed quilts. I had so much fun with the earlier batch. I’m liking the pink streak in her hair. Skiing is her happy (7” x 10.5”)

Star light star bright first star I see tonight…or not…thanks to a layer of clouds and snow flurries. We aren’t doing a late night stroll tonight, instead we are watching bad movies and cuddling with kitties. They enjoy late night strolls (6.5” x 14”)

When I started the snowboard piece, I couldn’t decide how the figure would fit onto my background which has been 12” wide by 7” high. I made one snowboarder and the piece looked odd. I made a second figure and the piece still wasn’t what I wanted. So I cut it in half and made

Yesterday it was a melty mess, but today there was snow. I love watching the snow fall and seeing it blanket the world in white. She loves snowy days (8.5” x 11”)
