My friend, Kristin, moved away and to celebrate her new home, I had to make her a quilt. I used Riley blake fabrics and a few solids to make these bordered print blocks.
The prints and colors are so happy.
My favorite part was quilt it. Each block has a different free motion design: flowers, doodles, scallops, words.
It’s backed with random scraps but I love that you can see all the stitching.
I like the quilting! You are doing such fancy quilting on bigger quilts.
