This art quilt was a homework assignment – the snail in the story is quite unhappy and grumpy. I wanted to ensure he looked unhappy.

Seriously I think I need to sit with you for a day to learn your secrets 🙂 Love Mr Snail. How is the scrap sorting going? and what a great idea using spoonflower. 🙂
Hi Carrie,
I am using this comment section to contact you as I don’t see another form of contact on your web page. My name is Holly Hobson and I am the Creative Director for the Girdwood Center for Visual Arts (GCVA), the art gallery next to the Bake Shop in Girdwood. One of our artists, Gina Edwards, recently saw (and purchased) your work at Snow City and passed your name along to me as she thought you could be a fabulous addition to our gallery. GCVA is a non-profit co-op gallery with about 30 artists at this time. You can find out more about us at our website gcvaonline.org or our facebook page, Facebook.com/gcvagallery. Please let me know if you would be interested in finding out more about GCVA, I would be happy to talk with you.
Thank You,
Holly Hobson

This quilt is wonderful. I love the quilting. I am now curious why the snail is unhappy. I guess I should find and read the book. 🙂
