Magpie Girl 7 (7.5†x 12.5â€)
I acquired the beautiful orange fabric as a door prize at a recent Anchorage Modern Quilt Guild meeting. It serves as a wonderful backdrop for this magpie girl who loves teal or odd blue/green items.
Her dress has muslin and lace ruffles in which she nestles her collection of buttons, charms, bits of fabric, broken zippers, old jewelry and office supplies.
The stitching of the background mimicked the fabric design. It’s such a happy design on the back.
So freaking cool, I love her. I need to find some info on this type of art it is very moving and inspiring.
