When I began scouring Alaskan brochures from all over the state for ideas on Alaska adventure, I was taken with an image of a child playing in the grass while her mom looked out at the amazing view. I kept coming back to that as I sketched. While it isn’t unique to Alaska, many would

One of my favorite things to do with visitors to Alaska is taking a glacier/wildlife cruise. It’s always a unique adventure. They enjoy adventures (20” x 16”) For this piece, I liked the challenge of creating the different mountains and parts of a boat while maintaining the scale and proportions of the people.
