There’s no snow in Anchorage Alaska. There is ice covering most of the sidewalks, streets and trails. We walk slow and add spikes to our shoes.
My winter bike has studs, like our car, but without snow, winter biking isn’t much fun – it seems more cold and more dark without snow.

The weird weather here creates havoc in my head – sinus issues. When the pain lifts, I stitch scraps of past quilted projects together to create something new. There’s no plan yet, we’ll see what emerges as the day goes on.
