The quilt tops were laid out and I had stitched 2\/3 of one top together.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/wpid-DSC03839-2012-03-28-18-57.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC03839-2012-03-28-18-57.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"500\"\/><\/p>\n<p>I finished the diamond in diamond top on Monday.  I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m pleased with the top and for the most part the points actually line up.  I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m excited to start quilting this one &#8211; thinking I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll do concentric diamonds.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/wpid-DSC03837-2012-03-28-18-57.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC03837-2012-03-28-18-57.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"505\"\/><\/p>\n<p>I finished the other top today.  I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t mind that everything doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t quite line up or that the points aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t crisp &#8211; it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s done and I pleased with it.  <\/p>\n<p>Both quilts are 54\u00e2\u20ac\u009d square made with a Basic Grey Curio layer cake and Ash Kona.  It was fairly quick to piece together. It took longer to figure out where I wanted all the blocks.  <\/p>\n<p>I finished piecing the backs for both quilts using extra blocks today and two prints from the Curio line.
