Our friend loves mustaches and my husband and I wanted to find something for her new apartment to reflect her style.  After a bit of searching we opted to make her some art.  She\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d been out of town for 3 weeks so she didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t open her gift until yesterday.    <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/wpid-IMG_0223-2012-01-8-11-44.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMG_0223-2012-01-8-11-44.jpg\" width=\"468\" height=\"347\"\/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">I covered four 12\u00e2\u20ac\u009dx12\u00e2\u20ac\u009d canvases with pictures of mustaches.  Then applied a layer of gesso and painted larger versions of the mustache styles.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/wpid-IMG_0233-2012-01-8-11-44.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMG_0233-2012-01-8-11-44.jpg\" width=\"216\" height=\"212\"\/> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/wpid-IMG_0235-2012-01-8-11-44.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMG_0235-2012-01-8-11-44.jpg\" width=\"216\" height=\"214\"\/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">I added the names of the mustache styles with rub-on letters and covered the canvases with two layers of Mod Podge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My final handmade holiday gift has been received.
