First up is an ornament exchange with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anchoragemodernquiltguild.blogspot.com\/\">Anchorage Modern Quilt Guild<\/a>.  I can never make just one ornament and I had empty glass bulbs in my craft room.  I filled them with bits of antique lace, trim, ribbon, buttons and yo-yos.  They look festive and if the recipients desire, the goodies inside can be removed with the aid of tweezers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/wpid-IMG_0059-2011-11-14-17-051.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMG_0059-2011-11-14-17-051.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"438\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">stockings<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">A week later, the <a href=\"http:\/\/anchoragelogcabinquilters.blogspot.com\/\">Anchorage Log Cabin Quilters<\/a> night group is meeting.  We are making and filling stockings for needy children.  These are the stockings I created with fabric provided by one of the members and a few pieces from my stash for the ruffled cuffs.  I may make a few more &#8211; the pattern is easy and quick.
