The weather was ideal, especially after almost 2 weeks of rain.  We traveled 120 miles during the tour through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/kefj\/index.htm\">Kenai Fjords National Park<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/wpid-DSC01376_2-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC01376_2-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"277\" \/><br \/>\nOrca Whales<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/wpid-DSC01377-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC01377-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"290\" \/><br \/>\nOrca Whales<\/p>\n<p>We saw orca whiles, humpback whales and fin whales.  Fin whales are the 2nd largest mammals on earth, growing up to 80ft long and clearly explain why long ago people thought there were sea monsters &#8211; fin whales look like sea monsters &#8211; especially when several are together.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/wpid-DSC01506-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC01506-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"415\" \/><br \/>\nStellar Sea Lion and Gull<\/p>\n<p>We saw lots of sea birds, stellar sea lions, sea otters, doll porpoise, glaciers and glimpsed the massive Harding Icefield.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/wpid-DSC01464-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC01464-2011-08-14-18-17.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"378\" \/><br \/>\nUs!<\/p>\n<p>If you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re in the area, make time for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kenaifjords.com\/\">tour<\/a>.
