We visited the <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.alaska.gov\/parks\/aspunits\/chugach\/glenalps.htm\">Glen Alps Trailhead<\/a> as the rain and clouds started to clear to see the beautiful view, the city and inlet in one direction and mountains in the other.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/wpid-IMG_2419-2013-08-13-16-18.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMG_2419-2013-08-13-16-18.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"378\"\/><br \/>\nThe next day we ventured north to <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.alaska.gov\/parks\/units\/chugach\/eklutna.htm\">Eklutna Lake<\/a> for some light hiking and sunshine.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/wpid-IMG_2291-2013-08-13-16-18.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMG_2291-2013-08-13-16-18.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"378\"\/><br \/>\nThen to Whittier for a glacier cruise.  It poured rain the entire day but the glaciers were still impressive.
