I finally pulled some decorator weight fabrics from my stash and lots of leftover batting and stitched these up. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/wpid-DSC06550-2013-06-2-11-07.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC06550-2013-06-2-11-07.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"378\"\/><\/p>\n<p>How I made them:<br \/>\nDraft a rough pattern for the shape of your chair.<br \/>\nCut 2 pieces of decorator weight fabric for each cushion.<br \/>\nLayer 3 pieces of batting and 1 piece of fabric together.<br \/>\nQuilt lines to hold the fabric to the batting.<br \/>\nRepeat for the other side of the cushion.<br \/>\nTrim the batting to the size\/shape of the fabric.<br \/>\nWith right sides together, pin ribbon ties in place.<br \/>\nStitch around the edges of the cushion, leaving an opening at the back for turning.<br \/>\nTurn right side out and hand stitch the opening closed (it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be too thick for your machine).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.believemagic.com\/journal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/wpid-DSC06553-2013-06-2-11-07.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-DSC06553-2013-06-2-11-07.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"378\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Love the colors and they wash well!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have wanted chair cushions for years &#8211; I look at them in stores and just can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t commit to buying them.
