Thank you for the chance of the giveaway. I came over from Alma Stoller’s blog. These pieces of yours are so beautiful!

  14. How about, “She’s all dressed up, but no where to go”. Or perhaps, “Someday my Prince will come”.

  15. Rose Harries says:

One of my first thoughts was “quinceanera” – celebration for spanish girls turning 15 and entering womanhood. And they wear beautiful dresses

  16. “All dressed and ready to party” Your piece is just gorgeous. I love the details and attachments to the skirt layers. Very clever and a fun way to embellish. Thanks for sharing.

  17. This is absolutely STUNNING! It speaks of “Elegant Beauty”, “Quiet Confidence” and “Unmatched Style”. Thanks for sharing, this would make a most beautiful wall hanging!

  18. Southern Bell!

This is truly a most beautiful Southern Bell …
Miss Scarlett would give her stamp of approval … and you know that is a hard thing for her to do!

I would add the sentiment: “Life is the dancer and you are the dance.”

  23. Gorgeous – she’s thinking – time to party!

  26. Dana Charlton says:

  27. I would say Sweet Sixteen. She reminds me of a girl ready for her Quincienera.

  28. She’s saying “I’m keeping my hands behind my back so I don’t hide my pretty skirt!”. God bless!

  29. Donna Marchlewski says:

She’s sixteen, it’s her first “grown up” dress and she’s asking her father if he thinks she’s beautiful. He tears up and says “absolutely, you are, and have always been beautiful”
