What have I been reading this year?
All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness (Discovery of Witches, Shadow of Night and The Book of Life) When the final book released, I reread the first two again – it is wonderfully rich story and I loved it. I will likely reread this every few years.
Lost Lake by Sarah Addison Allen, she is one my favorite authors
The Wishing Thread by Lisa Van Allen (loved this story)
The Language of Spells and The Secret of Ghosts by Sarah Painter
Skin Game by Jim Butcher (A Dresden Files novel – the series of these is excellent, I always look forward to the new ones)
The Witch of Little Italy by Suzanne Palmieri – cute quick read
The Selection series by Kiera Cass (The Selection, The Elite and The One) – I’m a sucker for a young adult romance novels
Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy, Frost Bite, Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise, Spirit Bound) – this was a fun read and movie adaptation of the first book was really funny
Double Dare by Rhonda Nelson – silly romance but quick
