Days before I was to set up my art show, I was inspired to make 4 new art quilts with Anna Maria Horner fabrics. Here is the first one.
I fussy cut the face to have ‘smile’ in just the right place. I used marbled fabric for the hair. She is wearing a dimensional skirt and mixing patterns for her outfit.
She is inspired by color and patterns (14†x 21â€)

The color is great and I love her hair and the butterfly on her neck and the smile on her face…perfect!
