“I go to nature every day for inspiration in the day’s work.” – Frank Lloyd Wright
She enjoys outdoor fun (6” x 12”)
With only a few days until the holiday craft/art fair season begins, I am holed up in my studio creating lots of art quilts and goodies.
I’m looking forward to seeing the finished quilts soon. If you are in town, hope to say hi in person on Saturday at the Christmas Towne Bazaar at South High.
After months of frantic stitching and not enough sleep, it all came together! The tables were full of journals, notebooks, art quilts, cards and prints. It was a fun day and all the work meant I had a well stocked booth and extras to restock local galleries and soon my Etsy shop – after a few more naps.
While I rest up, you have a chance to win some of my patterns and meet another quilting blogger. Jennifer of Chasing Bright Shiny Objects and See How We Sew has a special blog post about a quilt she created after seeing my patterns as a shop in AZ. Click the links, read her fun posts for a chance to win.
After a few years, it was time for a website change. It was a giant puzzle implementing a new theme, but I’m thrilled with the results.
One notable change – for those that like to add comments on the site, click the Read More button and the comment form will be displayed.
I am smitten with Harriet Riddell – I could watch the short films on a loop for days. I am inspired to make more portraits and try stitching in bits of fabric.
